Sorry about the bad picture but you can see that we skiied powder if you look real close. We skiied the swathe or the lawnmower as some people call it. This is located off of whitepine road just west of rayrock. This is a northeast facing 4000ft slope with an 50 degree entrance face off the summit. The top had four inches of powder on top of a carveable base layer. The face leads into 3000 verticle feet of wide open skiing and a little ski out the bottom on some logging roads right to the car. The snow changed several times throughout the decent including a little breakable crust and finishing in 3 inches of perfect high speed corn. The fact that we skiied to and from the car with zero bushwacking at this time of year says a lot for the great season we are having.
